Shoes are also important. Buying and wearing shoes that are comfortable and supportive are very important during the pregnancy, especially if the woman is on her feet a lot. Since there is usually much swelling later in the pregnancy, it is advised to have stretchy shoes and many times the woman's feet will grow during the pregnancy so you may need to buy a larger shoe size.

A woman often wonders what size she needs to buy during her pregnancy. Usually the same size is purchased in maternity clothes as she was in pre-pregnancy clothes. But as with normal clothes it often depends on the brand and style so it is always advised to try on the clothes before purchasing.
